BECOMING A COACH OR ASSISTANT AT HBO YOUTH FC

Step 1

Get An Understanding

Get in contact with HBO Chairman (Mark Strutt) and speak to HBO Coaches to gather an understanding of HBO FC.

Step 2

DBS Criminal records check

Once you have been authorised to join the club, CWO Helen Marriner will assist you in getting your application underway.

This is completed via our club portal.

Step 3

Create a FAN Account

A FAN is a unique identification number, which holds personal details as well as completed qualifications within The FA administration system.

Safeguarding Children Course

Anyone wishing to work with our players must complete The FA required Safeguarding Children Course.

Step 5

First Aid in Football

In order to provide immediate care for common football injuries, coaches and managers are required to undertake  The FA First Aid in Football course.

Step 6

Introduction to Coaching

Having completed Steps 1-3, Coaches and Managers will finally need to complete The FA training course Introduction to Coaching.
